Team NKD
Have you ever had to wear your clothes for days at a time? Unfortunately, NASA astronauts are forced to do this while going to places most only dream about. This semester, the NKD Texas Design team has been working on designing a horizontal-axis laundry washer for the NASA-Johnson Space Center. To effectively complete this project, the team has researched the background of NASA, the Constellation Program and horizontal-axis washers. To fully understand the assigned task, the team wrote a problem statement, created a list of requirements and constraints and planned the steps the team needed to take in order to meet their end goal.
